Home can be a good investment, but do not think you can do at this point. SD, $ 280,000 does not buy much. You can by the statement of ownership, you are very happy.
Ie 280,000 loan 30 years fixed at 6.20%
Monthly payment $ 1714.91
Home / 100.00 mortgage insurance?
150.00 taxes?
Interest Credit Card 12% 30.34
Car payment 558.00
500.00 condo fee?
That's $ 3053.25 per month s. Not sure if your car, your first credit card, utilities, food, gasoline, clothing, etc. are .......
And you can refinance your car, it will be very different. The interest is very dangerous on the market today. Difficult to get a roommate in the study. If you can get the housing allowance the military, I do not know think this is a good idea at this point.
Keep yourgood credit score and save money for future payments. I want to buy the house a few years.

I send you to the website of the State of California that provide information about affordable housing programs and programs for first time buyers is available. Where before they were a bit on the useless, emerged as relevant, and although there is much to read here, if you read, you will not regret it. There are programs, Down payment assistance and reduced interest rate not to wait there. This website is your job, you do not misquided or deceived. Resources by the California Association of Realtors official website www.car.org more www.ca.gov Department of Real Estate will be of interest to you. Knowledge is a wonderful thing for a first time buyer. Find a real estate agent with an impeccable reputation and made navigating through this with you. Here are your homework - before anyone has read the hands on you - Best wishes to you.
